A contributor sends us the following tip:
There is a way to view the world, as if you were looking through the eyes of your character.
1. Go to tools and go to the advanced video tab.
2. Set the prespective to 0.80
3. Set the Near Plane Distance to 60.0 (optional but helps when you are hunting for monsters.

this is a way better first person view that one isn't really first person view. you hit ctrl f then ctrl g to really go into first person view =D. Pm me in the game for any comments or put up a post. my name in EL is dwarfking. =)
