The previous guide is already outdated (have a look at it anyway!). You can find below some hot spots for most of the materials that can be harvested in EL. Please, feel free to correct and add what you wish! (in the comments). Please, take into account that in some of the maps a MM cape, or a def level of 26 is required.

Gypsum in Limestone Mountains of Arius Map - 'Use With' a Gemstone Hammer and chisel on the chest at co-ords (41,302) near storage to get near the gypsum faster. Then 'Use' the plank at co-ords (179, 192) behind the cart with a rock to ride up to the gypsum. You can then ride the cart back down and use the chest at co-ords (201,242) to get back to storage.
Still looking for swamp candles closest to storage. I think votd is closest in c1 but only swamp candles in c2 i have found is pv. Anyone know anything closer?

There are Swamp Candles quite close to storage in Arius.
They are located by the sea on the WEST side so, if u go straight from sto and turn left - it should be there.
The gem stone hammer and chiesel doesn't work on the chest by the gypsum anymore. The chest by storage takes you east of gypsum you now have to go through the cave with the Hobgoblins. The rest still works.
There is a passage via magic school to gypsum Arius.
Lol sunflowers at NC?
Sunflowers are close to the NPC dwarf with the rocket quest and the blue quartz.
Chrysanthemum closest to storage is EVTR. Facing the wagon behind the NPC go on the right hand side and there it is.
