1. Branch of destruction.
Our mighty BRoD is quite a controversial item. It will maybe grant more visits to EL shop. It's quite expensive to buy, but pays off really quickly, when you can screw up many people's efforts (and ) with one single hit!!! (just ask DonPedro)
The result is: EL's PK is kinda screwed up now!!! YAY!!!

My Hype
This is the hype I made for Eternal Lands in MMORPG.com. I know many people will agree with me:
My opinion (extended version):
Things that make Eternal Lands worth playing:
* A lot of nice community members
* An acceptably big world to explore and discover
* Most of it is free
Things that make Eternal Lands not worth playing:
*CRAPPY graphics.
* EL is forever and ever under development.
* The developers are the personification of ARROGANCE, and treat their player base like SHIT!
* FREE? Unless you want: A cool race, a bot, a guild, certain items that almost never appear in game... For all those things you DO have to pay a fee.
* If you die, you lose part of your stuff.
*Not so many creatures/monsters, so that spawns are always crowded.
* The isometric view gets very annoying, specially if you have to scroll in and out and left and right, to guess where your target is among tons of tree branches, and hit it.
* Movement in Eternal Lands is slooow, and running is (of course) not possible.
* The levelling system in Eternal Lands is problematic. Not because it is slow, which it is, but because it takes ages of dumbily sitting and clicking the "use" button to mix, blend, create, and some more other ages to run around clicking on creatures, hopping to hit your target (as I mentioned before, a nervebreaking task). Some more ages, nevertheless, are required to harvest items. SUMMARIZING: A CLICK-FEST
* The market system in Eternal Lands is completely out of control. Many players complain about this, but no solution is given.
* Some mods/admins/devs think of themselves as demi-gods.
* Watch out what you mention and to whom, you'll get (at least) censored, and sometimes banned from the game, if a mod dislikes your topic.
* The possibility to customize your character is very limited. Not many options given. 3 races are free, but for the other 3 races you DO have to pay (let's not call it donate, donating is voluntary, and this is not the case).
* Locating secret places and C2 can also drive anybody nuts. They are not placed in any logical way, and that requires the player to either be told about the secret place by a merciful player, either run around clicking on anything they see... A brick in the wall, a stone in the ground...
The reason to play Eternal Lands, is basically having an old computer that is UNABLE to handle bigger games, like the magnificent (AND FREE) Shadowbane, Rubies of Eventide or Planeshift.
If you play Eternal Lands and like it, it is because (IMO):
-You haven't played it for a long time.
-You already clicked your way to a high level, and don't want to waste you effort.
-You haven't got to know Entropy&CO.
-You feel too much attached to your guild mates.
-You think that THAT is all a f2p MMORPG can offer.
Please, browse this crappy web, and you'll find links to other REALLY GOOD free MMORPG. When you try them, tell me what you think (if you still have Eternal Lands in your mind, by then).
((SUMMARY OF MY OPINION: Don't waste your time with this crappy
